Will Glo run on a Mac?
Currently, Glo only runs on a computer with a Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 operating system. There will be a version of Glo that runs on a MAC operating system in 2010. Please check this web site periodically for specific availability information, or sign-up for updates.
Do I need an Internet connection to use Glo?
You must have an active Internet connection for Glo installation and to operate fully. If you don't have an active Internet connection, you will not be able to get the most recent updates of Glo, and some of the functionality within Glo will not work.
Can I install Glo in more than one computer?
Purchase of Glo is for a single license of Glo for a single user that can be installed on up to three personal devices. For example, a single user can install on their home desktop, their laptop and their computer at work. The single license does not allow sharing or installs on friend's devices.
I'm a Mac user: if I purchase the PC version today, can I upgrade to the Mac version once it is available?
Yes, when you purchase Glo you can install Glo on up to three devices. Once the Mac version becomes available, your Mac can be one of your three devices. The set of Mac discs will be available at a reduced price for existing Glo owners.

What is the difference between free Glo updates, enhancements and content and paid add-ons?
Basic feature enhancements and bug fixes are included free of charge as updates. For example, we may add different ways for you to sort and organize content or offer improvements to speed/performance or select apps. Those will be available for free.
"Content" refers to all media and resources linked within Glo. Sometimes content may be made available free of charge. For example, we will be releasing animated maps over the coming months, with animated arrows and voiceovers to give greater context to maps.
In-depth specialized applications or content packs that may become available will be for purchase. For example, an add-on content pack might be an "archaeological video pack" of specialized videos or maps that could be purchased and integrated into Glo.
